Center for Career Discovery students recently attended the BuildOn convention organized by the Builders Guild of Western Pennsylvania.
This event is a collaborative initiative between building and construction trade unions and local professional contractor associations in Western PA. The purpose of the event is to help students explore future career opportunities in the trades.
Congratulations to the following students who have been selected to represent Butler Area School District at PMEA District Orchestra at Collegiate Academy in Erie, PA in January 9-11.
Senior High School educators, Mrs. Tomsky and Dr. Thompson, have embarked on an innovative science unit with their students. The class adopted a calf named Milkshake to help connect the lessons about farming and sustainability to the real world.
