Senior High School Parking Pass Purchasing Process

** New for the 2025-2026 School Year **

On Friday, August 15th at 4:00 p.m. a Google form titled, "Student Parking Pass Application: Car Information" will go live for all students to register for a 25-26 parking permit. This form will be emailed to you. It will also be available on this page.

Schedules will be released the morning of August 15, 2025. This will give students time to review their schedules before selecting their preferred parking lot.

This year’s google form will ask you to choose your top two preferred parking locations, along with a third option of either the Admin or Lower Lot.  Spaces will be pre-assigned based upon the student's selection of parking location and the order in which we received your completed form. Each completed form will be timestamped to determine the order of assigned spots for each lot. This has eliminated the need for students to wait in lines to select preferred spots. 

Students are expected to have a parking tag to park on campus at all times. Students or someone who can pay for your tag should come to the high school during the following dates and times to pay for their spot and receive their parking tag.

  • Thursday, August 21 between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm
  • Friday, August 22 between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm
  • Saturday, August 23rd between 9:00 am and 12:00pm
  • Monday, August 25 between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm

The cost for a permit is $100.00 for a full year. We accept cash or checks made payable to Butler Area School District.

Students (or their designee) should enter the cafeteria through door 19 and report to the LGI room to make payment and receive your permit.

Requirements for Completing the Google Form

Fill out one form for each car you will/may be driving on to campus this year.  

You will need to upload pictures of your driver’s license, car’s registration, and car’s insurance card

Both the student and a parent/guardian MUST electronically sign for the first car you register. 

Permits are only sold to licensed drivers.  If you are not currently a licensed driver, you may come tot he main office to see if any parking spaces are still available after you receive your license.
